Does anyone have any pet loads they would like to share. Just got my rifle (300 wsm Sako 75 11 twist 24 bar) back from the shop and want to try a couple new loads. Thanks

I use Winchester brass and winchester mag primmers with
Nosler 180 grain Accubonds over 63.0 grains of H4350
I get a 10 shot average of 2862 FPS with a ES of 30.0 FPS and a SD of 9.66 FPS
For my gun this load shoots sub moa out to 800 yards(have not shot this gun any farther my self imposed limit for the gun is 800 yards Its a light carry gun)
My OAL is 2.860 which is shorter than I would like but its a savage with a very short box so I cant go any longer and still fit rounds in the Mag.
Good luck on finding a load
Let use know how it goes

My wsm seems to like a hotter charge than most, for any midsized game I use win or norma brass cci br2 primers 69grns Imr4350 under a 168 nosler bt at 2.845". Put that across your chrony if you got one! If you hit bone inside of 300 yards it messes a lot up though.

Mine seems to shoot the best with 165gr bullets shooting a little over 3000fps.Mine likes 65.0grs of IMR-4350 or 69.0grs of Reloader -22.

I own two 300WSM's, a Winchester Model 70 Coyote, and a Ruger 77 Mark II. I have used the Model 70 for targets out to 600 yards, and I bought the Ruger as my carry up the mt. elk gun.

Here are some loads that shoot well in my guns. (1) My elk load consisted of 168TTSX Barnes bullets in WW case, 215 Fed primes, and 64.7 grains of RL-17 powder. This is not a max load but it shot very well in the Ruger and averaged just over 3000 ft/sec. (2) I have shot many loads in the Model 70 and most have done very well. My gun loves 155 Sierra Match bullets and 67.0-69 grains of RL-19 in Norma cases, and WLRM primers. It also like the Berger 190 VLD bullets with either 69.0 grains of N165 in Norma case and WLRM primers, or the same bullet and 68.0 grains of IMR-7828 in Norma cases and WLRM primer. The N165 load gives 2942 ft/sec in my 24 inch barrel and the IMR-7828 load produced 2905 ft/sec.

Guys thanks for your input. Im definately going to try some of your loads. I greatly appreciate it, just due to time(Family and work) you guys have given me a jump on things. Ive been looking at the 210 gr berger Hunting vld. Anyone tried these with results? thanks again.

My Tikka likes hot loads too but it as a lot of freebore so I don't see pressure signs at published max. These loads are near or above max so start 10% below and work your way up.

Sierra 110 gr Varminter, 74.9 gr H4350, CCI 250 primer, 2.72 OAL, Win brass, 3520 fps, 2" @ 200 yds (over published max, lightly compressed)
Nosler 150 gr Accubond, 66.5 gr H4350, CCI 250 primer, 2.86 OAL, Win brass, 3150 fps, 2" @ 200 yds
Nosler 180 gr Accubond, 64.0 gr H4350, CCI 250 primer, 2.86 OAL, Win brass, 2950 fps, 1.90" @ 200 yds
Sierra 180 gr Gameking, 63.5 gr IMR4350, CCI 250 primer, 2.86 OAL, Win brass, 2925 fps, 1.80" @ 200 yds
Nosler 180 gr E-tip, 67.5 gr Reloder 22, CCI 250 primer, 2.90 OAL, Nosler brass, 2725 fps, 1.75" @ 200 yds (medium compressed)

I also have a 1 in 11 twist so I was surprised the 110s shot as good as they did. I've only put about 250 rounds down the tube but so far it seems to like the 180s best.

Here's another combination that shot very well for me today:

Sierra 180 gr Matchking, 68.5 gr Reloder 22, CCI 250 primer, 2.90 OAL, Federal brass, 2850 fps, 0.625" 5-shot group @ 100 yds (one ragged hole) - This is at published max.

I don't know how Matchkings perform on game but they sure do well on targets!
