300 Norma Mag Improved. Follow along!!!

Haha. I could of saved you a lot of time because my load is about the same, but with 91.5 grains of N570.
Haha I could have saved myself a lot of time if I just started with the 230's hahaha. I wanted a copper load, which took about 100 rounds with switching primers and powders. Then I thought the 225 ELDM's would be the ticket. And they shot well, but nothing crazy good. So then I finally shot the 230's and it only took 35 rounds to get a pretty killer load set up.

Lmao 🤣. I'm just getting started! I'm learning that barrels are just consumables in the big boy cartridge department. New barrel will be here tomorrow actually!
And that my friend has gained you years of evolution over the "barrel life will suffer crowd"!! nothing high performance isn't hard on ****

Gotta pay to play when your shooting 85+ grs of powder. I too have a spare 1:8 30 cal barrel sitting in wait for the inevitable

Final load. Tested a .03 deeper seating depth first to see if my accuracy would stay half assed decent for a duration of throat erosion. The first two went in the same hole, so naturally I had to shoot a third to see if it was an even better seating depth. But it wasn't lol. Then shot my load with the depth that I had all 50 loaded to. Printed a nice .3 group. Then went straight to 936 yards with a 5mph head wind. Excellent vertical and the left and right was pretty decent considering the variable wind. THEN I went to another ranch and shot 1200 yards and **** got ugly. But I need to shoot that again. I didn't really clear out all the rocks from under my bipod legs or rear rest and never felt REALLY solid. My mistake anyways. All stuff I am thinking about after the fact of course.
