300 JAZZ question

Can i use the 300 norma brass for this round instead of the 338 norma brass. And what is the difference between the 300 jazz and the 300 Norma. Thanks

There is no such thing as 300 Norma brass.

300 Norma is basically the same thing as a 300 Jazz. They are both made from 338 Norma brass.

The 300 Jazz is 308nate's version.

Maybe you are confusing it with 308 Norma Mag which is a completely different animal. Very similar to a 300winmag.

My mistake. I see that they have been selling the brass for a few months now.

I would guess that the difference between the two should be minimal. The 300 brass should be better to form from.

You'd have to ask Nate what the exact differences are.

Thanks, i was just wondering about the brass, i knew they made it. i also saw it on brunos website, im sure now, i would just use either die set to make one or the other cartridge.
