So 270 win. Rem 700. 140 eldx bad groups at 25 yds but turn out the best group at 150 yds. What am i missing? Using Reloader 22. Off a vise limiting shooter error. Double checked. Yep I'm confused. 5x5 shot groups,

Why would you shoot groups at 25yrds??
Its way to short.

I would only shoot 25 to if I could not get on paper & then move out to 110yrds(100metres) to resume my load testing.

P.O. Ackley once commented to start at 25. Easier to see what is happening, then move out. Always started there. Then to 100. Then 200.

Went from 25 to 150 and groups changed.

If it groups at 150, I wouldn't worry about the 25 group. Bullets take time to settle, as far as I know.
