25-06 bullet problems

The bullets I was using were 100 gr sierra game kings have had great success out of sierra in everything else. Maybe I just got a bad box.

There in lies your problem!

These bullets are great for smaller game, but not so good for deer sized game. They're too light/lightly constructed.

Big game .25 cal bullets start at the 110gr Accubond, which BTW is THE bullet for the 25-06!
I have tried Barnes TSX, but couldn't get the accuracy I desire.

Other great bullets are the 115gr BT, 115gr PT, 120gr PT and 120gr HotCor.

I highly recommend the 110gr Accubond, they kill like lightning and are extremely accurate, so too the 115gr PT.

Thanks for all the help. For some reason me and the 25caliber just couldn't get along I traded the rifle off. It was extremely accurate however alot of the places I hunt you have to have a good blood trail or dry to find them. I lost several good bucks and just can't bring myself to use one again. Went back to a 300 win in a tikka t3. Thanks again.
