243AI, is it dead in the water?

Are most of you guys running the 243 AI using 105's or 115's?

85gr Barnes is my favorite in the 243 AI, I just started shooting Hammers in the 300WSM and I'm very impressed so far to say the least

I've been shooting the new 109 Berger hybrid lately., Awesome. They changed the configuration enough that its not seat sensitive like the VLD and the nose design allows better room in the mag.

That 109 is a target jacket though. Have you used it on game yet?

Been using 105 Amaxs. Work well, but tough on meat. Shot last deer this year with 83 gr Sledge Hammer. Worked great, meat loss negligible as usual for Hammers. Going to go up in weight and try more next time.

If your twist allows try the 101 hammer hunter I have found it to be a tremendous bullet

According to Steve at Hammer, the heaviest i can go with a 1-9 twist is their 88 gr Sledge. It's gonna be hard to put down the 83s they shoot so well!
