243 powder ? Which one from my inventory?

It's all I have right now. Inventory is scarce out there. I'll buy what I can find.
Fair enough. The H4350 will work nicely for you, it's a good powder in the mid-sized cases, it's stable, and it'll run solid speeds.

We've been seeing really good powder drops lately. Powder Valley has IMR 4350 and IMR 4831 in stock currently if you move fast to get a keg.

For me I would do the 4350 first and second 4831 But I was in a pinch on my wiles 243 and we loaded some 87 grain Berger's up with 4831 and had superb accuracy. Only issue is they are slow like 2800fps slow. But she put a mule deer down at 297yrds with almost a full passthrough on the bullet. I'll be loading 4350 next set of rounds on it but she doesn't shoot much and still has like 18 of the VLDs still loaded.

how much H4831 are you loading? that sounds really slow.

the 90 gr accubond RL26 will give the best velocity out of what you have in stock , next would be RL17 . RL26 gives a good case fill % too , about 103% about 3230FPS .
RL17 gives a case fill of about 93% , (I like more ), and about 3170FPS .

IMR7828ssc would be a good choice too , if you can find it .

100 grain sierra's , RL26 is going to give top velocity , about 3100FPs , about 100% case fill .
H1000 is a little high case fill 111.2% and gives about 3000 FPS .

IMR7828ssc is a good choice , again if you can find it .

the 243 with the 100 gr bullets likes slow powder . I used IMR7828 before the ssc version was available . made good velocity , but the high case fill made it hard to work with . if I were you , I'd start with RL26 for either bullet . I like velocity .

H4350 is my suggestion. I use it for 90gr TGK, 100gr TGK, 87gr vmax, and 100gr interlok. I think you'll be happy with it as it's accurate, good speed imo, and temp stability for hunting.

It's always been IMR 4350 for me in all my .243s. 70 grain 85 or 100 grain pills it makes no matter. Always happy with the results.

4350 ! I'm running a Remington Model 7, early version with the 18.5 inch barrel. This powder combined with the short barrel work well with the bullets I use. 80 gr through 100 gr.

Starting to load for 243. These are my powder choices. Where would you suggest that I start? These are all I have in inventory right now

4831sc
RL17
H1000
Rl26
H4350
RL26 with heavies is a wicked combo. I ran retumbo and RL26 in a 26 PRS rig with 115's at 3200. Unreal performance. If you run lights I'd stick with RL26 or 4350.

H4350 will run cleaner, be easier on your barrel, and you will have very little work when cleaning your barrel. RL26 is great but it's hard on you barrel and runs dirty, especially in shorter barrels. I don't think your going to gain much running RL26 as I push the 115 Berger at 3045-3050 FPS in 6 Creedmoor with H4350. Lighter Bullets it works great with also. I was running the 101 Hammer Hunter around 3225fps with it also. H4350 is very temp stable which RL26 is not. Either will work for you but I would lean toward the H4350. Good luck but you should be good with that selection what you have. Time to hit the range and do some testing. Let us know how it goes!

I loaded 105 Amax in 243 26" barrel. I tried AA4350 (XMR4350) and RL17 with success. 4350 less velocity but better accuracy. RL17 higher velocity and acceptable accuracy.
