22/243 vs 22/6mm: what would you build and why?

22x47Lapua anyone?? Runs the 80 VLD's at 3400 out of a 26" barrel. Should have longer barrel life than the 22-243

Kevin Weaver @ weaver rifles has a reamer and is working up some loads for his fast twist 22x47. Looks down right mean with the 80 & 90 gr VLDS.

Not trying to high jack the thread here, sorry cowboy. But I would like to see more info on the Vias round. Does anyone have any more info or a good place to look. I googled both the 22 Vias and the 6mm Vias and not much comes up.

George Vias is dead, and somebody else took his shop over with a different name. Precision Shooting has run several articles about his wildcats and muzzel brakes. Guess there's been several F class shooters use his rounds in the past. Try this phone number (210) 479-2803.
