What would you Buy and Why?

Interesting article in last months PS by Bill Calfee on picking rimfire barrels, tuners and where to put the crown and chamber etc. another article coming out this month on centerfire barrels.

It seems he likes a "tight" bore at the muzzle. Right now only one barrel mftr uses a taper bore (.0001) and that is Broughton.

Hmmm do not know if that is the only reason his barrels do so well, but I imagine it is his attention to detail and that.

Chris you the man! Broughton's website is up and running today. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Chris if you had to pick one over the other between Broughton and Schneider which one would you pick? Does anyone have a Broughton 5c 8 twist barrel? and are you having any trouble with it blowing up VLD, ULD, or thin jacket bullets? I know 3 groove barrels in fast twists have this problem.
