1960s Rem 700 or New Rem 700 Actions

Which would be your choice for a custom hunting build, and why?

myself, I like the 721's for std. and mag. cal's., but harder to find now, (and the 722's are just to damm nice to mess with). They seem "smoother" to me, and require less machine work to square up. But, the new ones are ok also, I just don't like the "J" lock crap.

Old or new 700 without the J-Lock would be a toss up for me. General condition would be the tie breaker for me.
