6.5, 270 and/or 300wsm's before the 90's. I just wish I knew I'd want them so much! Now I just build them and hope for brass.

Mine was a like new Weatherby 300 Win Mag off a friend for $800 last year. I thought I would get him to drop the price a bit. Bad move. He sold it to his nephew. Lol

Bitcoin, when a guy I knew told me it was gonna blow up. At $200 bucks a pop, I passed.

Rifles - m40a5 when I had a chance for next to nothing.

Winchester Model 71 Deluxe Rifle, 348 Win, about 30 years ago out in Vegas at Antique Arms Show. Nearly mint condition guy only wanted $1,500. Winchester made those from 1935 to 1957, back when America was always still the best ever.

I pass 2 time the same rifle the same year, remington sendero in 264win... one was use the other was new... was not realoding back then and was afraid if the barrel burner thing... if I had know back then what I know now...

All the cool stuff I always wanted just sits there. Can't replace it now, so I don't use it.

None. I find a way to buy them all. I regret buying a couple though.

Oh my. I just realized I have a problem.

The two I regret most are a pair of pre-64 Model 70s. I was looking for a Sendero in .300 Ultra and had cash in my pocket. These guns were sitting in a little shop on consignment one was a .300 H&H the other was a .375 H&H, the asking price was $1000.00 each, no tax. Not long after that I walked by a M70 Classic Stainless in .375 H&H priced at $600.00 and barely looked twice. Both of these dumb@#$ moves occurred in 2016 IIRC.

At a Gunshop with a rifle Range in NY state, a Pre 64 Win , Heavy Barrel, in 243, with a Long Unertil 12 X scope in Very Good condition, for $600.00!! As Bugs Bunny used to say" What a Maroon!!! "

This is a good question and interesting post. Like many have said, I have many rifles and really haven't passed on too many but I can tell you all some I wished I haven't have sold:
1. Browning A-Bolt Medallion in 25-06. 24" barrel and was a sweet gun.
2. Remington ole faithful 700 BDL chambered in 30-06. I was much younger and a guy wanted it worse than I did so I sold it and made a few bucks.
3. I know we are mostly talking about centerfire rifles; however, a few years back I passed on a Browning 22 (the small one that loads from the stock and easily breaks down into 2 pieces). It was a special run with a blonde color upgraded Walnut and was beautiful. I could have bought it for about $800 and I passed. That would have been a cool little rifle.

What I miss most, a kind of regret, are times and good places to hunt.
More rifles have been available than hunts.

For example, I see that Ruger Africans are MLPrice at $1650 now. Maybe 7-8 years ago a 416Ruger African could be gotten for around $800. I bought 150 brass cases for whenever, but I don't regret not buying the rifle. When the time comes it will cost a little more. They remain a great rifle, but I need hunting opportunities for my 338s, 416Rigbys, and a 300 PRC.
