What's the experience? 30, 45 min then squeeze the trigger.

As most have said, he's a beautiful animal and congratulations on the opportunity to harvest him. He has great length on both G3's, left G2, and both beams. I believe he will gross, non-typical between 145-155. That is a good number to represent how much antler he has grown. His gross typical and both net scores (non-typical and typical) will be significantly reduced by the difference in his G2 length, the abnormal point (forked left G2) only being on one side, and no G4 on the left side. Personally, I don't care very much about scores (especially net), though I score a bunch a deer as part of my job. I say if the hunter likes the deer and the ranch manager says he's old enough to shoot, then ground check him! Enjoy the hunt (whether you harvest him or not), and please follow up with the hunt results.

148 to 154, a very nice buck. Do not let the fence BS bother you. I Grow deer also and it's very rewarding watching their growth over the years.

High 140s gross but not mature...........

Low-mid 140s, IMO. Very short G1s help keep him below 150. I can tell from the estimates who here hunts TX and who doesn't. This is not a large deer.

Cedar and prickly pear suggest TX hill country, so live weight is probably 130-170. A really nice deer, would be my personal best by ~6-10", but he looks young. He could really be something in two more years.

I'd say 150 ish. He doesn't have much mass and short brow tines. So hard to tell as there's no way to tell body size.

Has some dedications, 150's. With that said, I'd shoot him.

gross score is all that concerns me. If a deer grew it, count it, imo.

I know where a mounted 10 pt is that has a 12-1/2" inside spread. And short G1s. 156-1/2" green. Haven't measured him since the day he was killed.

155 to 157 +or- a couple, wish I could see his brow tines a little better.

Agree About low 140s. Good YOUNG buck that needs a few more years to get some mass.

not that big of a body so not real wide or hi, so 145 ish. seen quite a few bigger body deer with racks like that dead and scored. what state is that?
