Labradar LX - I guess they have an answer for the Garmin Zero. Maybe?

I'm lost on why people need down rage BC reports. I shoot Bergers almost exclusively and use there drag model with garmin MV and have had zero issues when I shoot out to 1200 yards. Is the downrange BC a requirement of ELR shoots or am I missing something entirely?
99% of people don't. They think they can get better results than the manufacturer for their rifle, but the reality is they'll still need to tune their model so they're just wasting time getting to a similar starting point. It is useful for cast bullets since there's no stated BC to start from, but the number of people shooting cast bullets far enough to really care about ballistics is pretty small. If you have something like AB's radar system that they use to create CDMs and PDMs that's a different story, but that's totally out of reach for almost everyone.

I enjoy reading down range arrow velocities. Tinkering and experimenting with different weights, number of vanes, different helical angles……etc.
Can't say that it helps me shoot at long distances, buts it's fun and interesting.

Given that the companies I work for have product development cycles that are 18-30 months, I'd suspect this has been in the works for a while. Anyone know how long it takes to get FCC approval for a RF device? Add at least half that time to the development cycle.

Competition is good. I welcome it because it's the consumers who benefit.

What will be interesting (maybe) is what becomes of Magnetospeed.

Flash in pan? I hope not, love this innovation.

It's funny to see all these fellas quick to trash LR when 8 months ago if you didn't get a reading with a LR it wasnt accurate. Like a bunch of Kardashians. Hats off to LR for duping everyone into spending that kinda cash on something that reads velocity. I doubt LR will falter. You'll all be wasting your money on it soon. 😁😁😁

Just got my new radar, rough on range but pretty good details. Truck was extra though. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a 1st gen magnto speed I got for free and bought a competition electronics optical for $140. They get the job done for all projectiles one way or the other. No LR Or duping for me.

I just got my garmin. It is shockingly small. I feel like it should cost 59.99 based on the size and weight! I'm going to buy a hard case to protect it, but also just so it doesn't fall between the seats of my truck and get lost!
