I am very pleased with Midways offerings. I own two and they have stood up extremely well for over 8 years now without issue ! The biggest problem with inexpensive range bags is that they offer little to no padding for protection of firearms (carrying hand guns to and from the range) or related equipment. Secondly the use of inexpensive zippers which are prone to break at the wrong time ,and last they are difficult to balance and carry correctly.a All of the Midway's line up of bags really do stand up to normal use. I suggest that on your next range visit check out what other shooters are using and ask them if they feel that they are satisfied with their purchase. Now in that light you can make an informed decision. However IMHO Midway is at the top of the list !

Mine shades me from the sun. Has to be this big, considering all the stuff I take out to the desert with me...

Yeah; gets about six miles per gallon. It needs a new carburetor. I have all the parts, just no ambition to get it all put on and adjusted. The carb that was on it when I got it was entirely wrong. Rather than rebuilding the wrong air-fuel mixing device, I bought a new 350cfm Holley 2-bbl and had an adapter all welded-up and machined to fit the intake. The Holley can be adjusted; I have no idea as to what is even the part number of the FoMoCo thang that goes onto its 300 I-6. To add insult to the serial injuries, a member from another site advises me that NV law disallows me to shoot out of my camper top on public land. I built the top in 2011; never heard anything about not being able to shoot from it until last week.

That's why I built it. I wanted something that would allow me to already have 90% of the stuff in it and waiting for action. And it gets really hot out there in a NV summer. The side doors open upward, and you get a nice cross-ventilation in there.
