Loading for the 6.5x284

Nosler uses Norma Brass. Eith the Norms Brass I used the same loads and seating depth and had comparable velocities and accuracy. To play it safe you could reduce the powder charge by a couple of grains and work up.

Perfect! I will start with that, thank you all for your help! One more question. I am going to reload some 9 mm ammo. My question is if the recipe calls for Remington 1 1/2 primers and there are none available locally to purchase can I switch to a different brand without any complications?

Yes, the "small pistol primers" are pretty close, Remington CCI, Winchester, and Federal. I have interchanged them with no issues. Just don't exceed recommended charges,
