Assault Weapons Ban Document HR 5087

I've been an NRA life member for 2 years, and I'm glad that I did it. In that time, I've seen the NRA fight on a daily basis against the worst the enemy can throw at us. Joe Schmuck on youtube and Discontent Howard the gun store clerk who bashes the NRA are complete non factors. They have done nothing to protect my rights. In fact, I don't see any other groups fighting for my rights. All I see is jealous elitists siding with the anti gunners against the NRA to bring down the second amendment.

I'm definitely not "attacking" the NRA. And I ****-sure ain't no "elitist". Just expressing my disgust at how complacent they've become with our rights. I think the NRA is an awesome organization...But they REALLY need to get back to serving the will of the patriots, and the true meaning of the 2nd Amendment, and regain the "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" attitude they once had. They need to stop allowing the people in charge of the NRA to help the globalists and Dems, by pushing for anti-gun legislation (like bumpstocks). Anything that is allowed to be banned, that is related to guns or gun accessories, is considered to be anti-gun legislation...Regardless of how cheap and stupid the idea is, or how good or bad it performs its function.

I feel the same way you do MudRunner. But to me its like politics if you don't vote you don't get to complain! When I joined the NRA they had me fill out a questionnaire to see where I was on the issues, if you are a life member you get to vote for the board members. Maybe you should join so maybe we can outnumber the Fudds! We five million members are the NRA, if we could make it ten and a better organization in the process that would be best case.
We can hang together or one at a time!!
 
You guys all make really good points. Perhaps our best COA is to support the NRA and beat back these assaults on our Second Amendment rights and then afterward work on reforming the NRA a bit, make them like a giant version of GOA. But first and foremost we have to stop the latest assault by the anti-gun crowd and the grossly stupid, tide pod eating, uninformed teenagers.

Speaking of the NRA did you notice that they filed to appeal Florida's new gun restrictions? Good on them
 
Also, if there was a better way to simultaneously butt hurt every SJW, commie professor and loony toon in the country than joining the NRA, I would like to hear about that too!
Isn't it worth the $20 a year just to offend that many progressives?
