EPIC PDog HAMMER TRAIL

Are you sure that wasn't some sort of minature heat seeking missle?
Sorry ZA, but gotta show what a real heat seeking missile looks like.

Not currently but you can beg and ask the powers that be, they may drill you up a set. Now you have me tempted to load some in my 300 WSM for next year. 🤣
Awesome video! Im sure the dead blows in your 300wsm would have some savage effects on the piggies! I've been happy with the performance of the 124s out of my 30/06 on hogs, but I've always been a fan of the carnage 💥🐷💥 especially after my yard gets rooted up!

I must have missed something. What is a 270 TH?
Aw c'mon Clem! It was the .270Win build that dang near brought me to my knees with all the build problems before I was able to get it together and found out wow! It is a 700LA that provides longest COAL which allows better case capacity thus more powder for Hammer 156HH to scream at 3284! It was a lot of fun!

700LA, trued by Penrod Precision, 27" SS Preferred Barrel Light Palma contour, 1:8tw, 5R, 0.290 free bore added, Triggertech trigger, Holland heavy recoil lug

Do you take a dump on everyone who is excited about their inventions? yes he's got a product he sells but it's a pretty huge intellectual leap between what Steve playfully said and what you are feeling like he said. Been seeing a lot of that lately and I find it pretty rankling.
No insult or derogatory note was intended as you perceived...
I own and have owned and used Hammer bullets since they were not commonly known.
They are good bullets.Among many....
You called them an invention....Well .Inventions must be patented....
there used to be a bullet company named
Vapor Trail Bullets...
People have been oiling/greasing bullets for years to enhance their trail.
Herters used to market bullets near identical to Hammer bullets.
We,ve been watching bullet trials thru good spot scopes for years, and blow up hits before the common ability to record them was available.
The proof of bullet accuracy and performance can be read in equipment lists of major matches.

We certainly didn't invent the vapor trail. Claiming the trail from a Hammer Bullet as the Hammer Trail is really just fun. We don't do anything to try and make it. In all honesty, we are not exactly sure why we see such a pronounced Hammer Trail. We used to think it was residual oil. Not so sure now. Our cleaning process is getting rid of more and more residuals as we continue to refine the process. We haven't taken the time to truly test to see if there is a diff between cleaning processes.

We do have a patent on our drive band design.

Boy..... you must be in sales....????
I own some hammer bullets..... and yes they are good....
but let,s not forget....
there,s been
150 years of great kills made before hammer bullets came into existence.
Watching that video the PD is still pretty much whole. Real varmint rounds cause them to disappear.

I'm a 40 year PD hunter and always used a 270 then a 243 and now generally AR's. The real key is cheap bulk varmint type bullets. Being a red mist person the only way I can explain completely gone is the fantastical RPM the projectile is doing which causes near 90 degree destruction with highly frangible pills.

Cheap pills because I have used up 1500 rounds on a multiday safari and you have to take multi rifles because of when gun one gets hot you go to gun two and then gun three

The Hammer Bullet in that video is designed for big game. It will stay together enough for deep straight line wound channels. It also has the ability to fully open on the small light prairie dog.

And it has a Hammer Trail!😁

6.5CM, 97 Absolute Hammer @ 3487FPS, 290 Yards

Remines me of shoot ground squirrels in day gone by. Best one was my brother and I hunt them together. On an given day we would take turns shooting. One time there was 4 ground squirrel fighting with each other in a ball. My brother time to shoot and let fly. The group exploded. So we when up to the spot. There was legs and body parts all over the place. So how my brother had manage to take all four of them at one time. I don't know if the bullet came apart at the time of impact or what. Never seem so many legs all over the place. Got 4 for one. It is a 220 Swift with 55gr Sierra SPBT @ 3900fps. range was about 300yds.
