Ok, I am not an attorney but I retired as DirHSE for a global company and dealt with Dangerous Goods in transportation at times. My comments are just that an opinion, take it as such.
No individual is likely to have the required Insurance, documented HAZMAT training, financial resources and so on to ship primers or smokeless gun powder.
So what? Remember ValuJet crash in Everglades 20 years ago? Improper HAZMAT shipment caused it. People went to jail for it. Plus horrible tragedy for families.
IMO, If the shipper ships FOB to you, the entire LIABILITY of the shipment MAY be transferred to the buyer depending upon the wording. Furthermore you still MIGHT be drawn in if you knew or should have known it was shipped improperly. Again I am not an attorney but if shipping HAZMAT and an incident were to occur typically draws in both shipper and receiver (buyer) if the shipper has insufficient resources. Its called cradle to grave as well. NO HAZMAT cost in the posting and general shipping by FedEx seems to indicate no Hazmat is being considered. Duh, Billy Bob in CA come to mind?
These morons need to be shut down NOW before something horrible happens and our means to obtain powder and primers from legit sources is shut down as excuse by Lets Go Brandon.
I would bet Gunbroker disclaimer prob means squat to DOT prosecutor.
