The Great PRIMER Depression of 2020

Just a couple of things bothering me this morning, #1. When a NEW President takes the OATH dosent He or She vow to Uphold the Constituon ? If their first act is to Shred the 2A isnt that grounds for impeachment?
#2. Before HITLER started rounding up the Jews, He Disarmed them. What do you suppose Obiden and Heels up have in mind?

The primer thing has gotten crazy. First it was small pistol and rifle, now everything. Pretty much every local store is restricting sales. About a month ago a friend called and said he found a place with small rifle bricks in stock. It was about an one and a half hour drive. I did not go but now wish I had. I shoot a lot of precision small rifle primer stuff. 6BR, 6.5 47 Lapua. That stuff was affected first since small rifle has been hard to find all summer. Now it is every primer. If you need a laugh on the politcal side this remix comes from a Biden interview from about five years back.

I didn't know that we could have extra of anything gun related. I'm speaking for myself of course, but I don't have any extra of anything, seems like we may need everything we have on hand for future engagements that might arise in the coming months and years 🤔
Well, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I do have an overabundance of one thing. I am thinking about going into business selling once used primers. Anybody have any thought as to whether or not that might make me rich?

^^^ sell on gunbroker. I'm sure someone would pay at least $0.10 each.

I saw a video on YouTube of how to reload 22 LR. How hard could it be to reload a spent primer. Knock out the anvil, punch the firing pin hole back out, add a little primer material, and reinstall a new anvil.

Edit...actually looks like someone already uploaded a YouTube video on how to "re-load" a primer.

But rather than using match heads, use repriming compound...

I expect 10% of all proceeds.

After all that help, I was thinking about something more along the lines of 50% of all profit. If we could get everyone here to send us their once-fired primers we might both be rich.

Yes I have....lmao....spent 40% of my working life in your country....and love a pile of Y'All....Eh!
I just picked up my new 340 Weatherby Mag. I took the scope off my old 378 Weatherby and got it all level and bore-sighted in. I am going to load some ammo up tonight and if you will stake a nice fat boar black bear to a tree, I will drive up there and shoot the critter for you. Hope you are having a great hunting season.

Gun Broker is selling 1000 primers for $250.
Not to me and my 14 y.o. grandson needs federal small pistol primers for his cowboy action rounds but not at that price!!!! He will be out of it in 3-4 months with a little practice an 2 shoots a month.. This is just crazy

Been through the shortages several times. Mass hysteria. Herd mentality.
The two year backorder comes from dealers and distributors mass ordering from everybody in the hopes of getting anything. In addition ammo manufacturers ramping up production to their full capacity to make hay while the sun shines.
If and when things start to catch up, dealers will suddenly start cancelling all those orders to keep from getting stuck with large shipments and suddenly you will see the 2 year order backlog disappear.
BUY WHEN THERE IS PLENTY. Ammo, 22lr, primers, powder, lower receivers, parts kits. What will get hit on the next wave of regulations? No matter how good things are, a Democrat is going to get elected sooner or later. There will be another mass shooting or high level murder. Always going to be another excuse for trying to pass more regulation, creating another shortage or ban. They are not going away.
Well said and true
