Official Hammer bullets Terminal Performance (picture heavy)

I promise you will be impressed with their performance on game. Also, load development for regular Hammers and Shock Hammers is simple and quick.
If you have the twist, the Absolute Hammers give incredible speed and performance.
Look at post #2 of the Absolute Hammer Load Data thread for loading help with Absolutes. For regular Hammers follow normal loading for the next lighter wt bullet.

Scott Nail, I'd appreciate hearing what load you end up with for the 6 CM. That will be the next calibre I will order Hammer bullets for.
My son and I along with a few friends will be hog hunting in the Palo Duro Canyon area of Texas in January, our 16th year in a row to make the trip. I hope to add to this forum with some terminal photos.

Hello and good evening........... Hammer got my 3/paks out today and looks like friday/pm they should arrive.I plan to post all 3 caliber results, (6mm/CM,6.5mm/CM,308win).....after I get a chance to give them a go. gsp2west, with your interest in 6mm/CM...... I will start with them and report back asap!! Maybe next weeks wind and reported rain will be kind and allow a window to shoot. Thanks for reaching out to me, I'll do my best to find a happy load. BTW,I have (2) 6 cm, (1) Rem 700 24" McGowen 1/9tw Killer Innovations Chassis, Athlon 8-34x56 (2) Ruger AP 22" 1/8tw Boyd's bedded 8-32x50...... Both shoot really nice, Rem 700 9tw was for lighter pills but still seems to enjoy heavier as well. I will try both if I have enough Bullets to last!! NSN75w

Well, i may have decided my 7mm RUM is a bit much for our 100 lb whitetails.
Shot a nice doe this morning. Using 131gr Hammer Hunters at 3688. She probably thought a semi had run over her. Blew lung and other tissue 12 ft passed her in the field. As usual the Hammers didn't destroy a lot of meat, but they surely wrecked her insides. When I skinned and quartered her, her insides came out as liquid pretty much. May drop back to my 6.5-06 AI.

@7stw knocked 2 down tonight with a 90g HH out of a 25-06AI story to follow
The deer havent cooperated much in my neck of the woods this year, tomorrow is the last day of the regular rifle season , and tonite was my only op. So, does were on the endangered species had I seen one. Last lite, one came out, 270 yds, i was waiting for her to take another step, and in my peripheral sight, to my left, five walked out, all big, or decent sized does. They were bunched up sorta, and lite was fading. I needed one to tske a step to clear the herd, she did, i fired, five deer scattered. Walked down field see where she went, she and tge others had jumped a ditch, went thirty yards, piled up. I had to walk around to a crossover road to get to her, when i did, fifty yards parallel to where i shot her, another one laid dead too. Surprised to say the least, as it wasnt intentional.
Now, to the terminal performance! The pic shown is entrance on the outside, and inside, of the first deer . Internals were shredded, heart obliterated. On the second deer, it apears thst one of the pedals after exiting deer one, not only went into the second deer , but actually exited as well. It sliced though the rib, cut the back half of the heart, as if by a filet knife, and exited as well.
My rifle, is a 1994 sendero, originally in 25.06, but was chambered to 25.06ai, when it was new. I bought this past spring, and Butterbean turned me on to the Hammer hunter, 92 grain. Load developement was easy, i just reduced a load i had for a lighter bullet, and day one, it was shooting .5 groups, and repeated. Ive been a Barnes fan for many years, and never thought anything would un seat me from thrm, but these beauties are gamechangers for sure. Thanks to Butterbean for posting the pics, and sending me these bullets. Both are keepers!
And to Steve, great product, and great service.

Just want to add that speed is at 3550. Rifle is zeroed at 200 yards, these deer were at about 220 yards.

Daughter's elk, 124 Hammer from 6.5 Creedmore right at 200 yards. Heavy quartering down hill, entered dead center behind the shoulder exited in front of the off side shoulder very low. MESSED it up inside, ran 15 yards and piled up. Her first elk!!
