Must be such a relief. I thought for sure you 'toasted' the scope by firing from the 'lead sled'. Nice to see everything is fine still. Thanks for the follow-up post. Nice when things work out for a change.
Now that you know the rifle will shoot, try it off the sled with the new ammo, if for no other reason than piece of mind....Here is the update. Shot a 5 round group at 100 yards off bags with Hornady 140gr eld-m.
Ditch the lead sled and man up it's a CreedmoorJust took my new Christensen MPR 6.5 Creedmore to the range and put the first 35 rounds through it. Did the recommended break in procedure. Was shooting Winchester 129gr power points. Gun was completely erradic. Shooting from lead sled. Even had friend shoot it. Scope is NF ATACR 5x25x56. Everything seems tight. Even at 100yds it was 6+ MOA or worse. Didnt bring different ammo to try. I dont have a ton of experience with rifles but the ones I have have never acted like this. Any suggestions/thoughts? Appreciate the help.
Nothing loose. Must have been a combination of ammo and sled.

I have shot with a leadsled for over 20 years and have three rifles that shoot sub half inch groups all day every day. look for the problem in another area.
