257 __________ ? name this wildcat

What's it sitting on the shelf for lol?

Why do you only need one bullet? Reamer design? 0.130" Freebore in necks of 0.300-0.311 length will work just fine and more won't hurt a thing if magazine limitations aren't a factor in guys' builds.

The 131 ACE is 1.440" and the second bullet should come in at 1.43. Seemingly similar but a number of geo changes to make the hunting bullet perform terminally and to make up for those changes ballistically.
It's in line waiting it's turn.

I only need one because all I can do is look at it. My reamer design is done. I have .325" neck length, plenty of magazine length, and a .250" freebore.

Originally the 132 grain bullet was supposed to be 21 caliber ogive but we had to turn up the volume. The second bullet that will come out this year is a little over 22 average caliber ogive radius. Aggressive but not too wild. It's a true dual ogive hybrid and I'm chomping at the bit to get it out of prototype stage over our Oehler 89 System that should come in over the next couple months. : )

What is the bearing surface length and the length of the boat-tail ?

to answer your question the best I can today, just long enough but not too long and long lol.Sorry I can't spill the beans yet.

In the event we make modifications to bullet #2 I don't want to put out geometries just yet. For simplicity's sake if you have a 0.300-311" neck on your cartridge the current freebore we indicate on our prints will work just the same and there won't be any significant powder losses to boat tail/BSL encroachment into case.

For those of us that have found our load with the ace. How much will the powder charges have to change if any on the new bullet?

Not sure on that. I don't worry about Quickload too much but I can run the numbers when I have more time. I'd except a grain or two more powder would be all that's needed or practical.
