Finally? With only 5 BPs you have the balls to say finally? 
I had 18 BPs last time I drew.
Congrats. Should be a great year with all of the way snow and rain we just had.

It's a good feeling isn't it? I found out I drew a Muskox tag in AK for next year. I'm pretty pumped about it

I drew AZ elk this year with 3 points. First time for me. My friend drew 3 years ago with no points and again last year with one. I don't understand how it works. Seems like some guys draw all the time.

I'm currently having a pity party because mine didn't get hit... 12 points for elk and 14 for antelope... thought sure I'd get elk this year but no such luck.

72, I don't understand how it works either. I had five for elk and 12 for antelope. A friend drew a coveted 13B Az Strip muley hunt with two points, seven years later same hunt again and another the following year. Other friends have 20+ and still waiting. I go on hunts to help friends when I'm not drawn which I enjoy almost as much.

Lance, just hope the rain keeps up till just before my hunt. If it rains during my hunt I can't get near the elk and have a heck of a time getting my fifthwheel out. Been there on my last draw.

I also know another guy from here in PA that has drawn 4 out of 5 years for elk in AZ. I'm sure the non resident tag fee has something to do with it. Why do they even give points when you don't draw. They don't help your odds of drawing, obviously.

If a Non-resident has drawn 4 of 5 years for an AZ elk tag, he needs to quit messing around and play the lottery. That is unheard of. Non-res are limited to 10% of tags max. Meaning actually only draw 5-7% of available tags. Even of they are cow tags, that is unbelievable luck. Tell him congrats. I have been putting in for elk for 30 years and only drawn 3 elk tags here.

The last 3 years I have been feeling sorry for myself not drawing while my friend and this other guy draw all the time. The one year he didn't draw elk, he drew a mule deer tag in AZ. I'm like ***. After hearing these stories, I feel like I didn't deserve to draw. I turn 60 next week, maybe it was my early birthday present.

Congrats on the tag. Looks like another BP for me.
In Arizona, it all depends on what you put in for. Early Rifle Bull? Expect to wait for years. And even then, it's dependent on which Unit you apply for. Units 1,3,23,27, etc, expect a LONG wait unless you get REALLY Lucky. We drew 2 last year with 18 Bonus Points. This year we drew a pair of late Rifle Bull Tags with 0 Bonus Points.
