MY season opens sept 28 . my first tag since 1992!!! they are usually close during the rut. i will use either a 30-06 700 ti or a sendero 300win . roninflag
In case you dont know, the southern most portion of 6A holds some real lunkers while much of the rest holds lots and lots of 300 class bulls. As always some real toads come out of Clear Creek. Good luck. Please let us know what happens.
MICHAEL- the tag i have is for 6a north and 6a west . i can't hunt west clear creek canyon . there are some canyons i have been scouting as far south as i can legally hunt. i have not seen anything bigger than 300- 320 yet.thanks for the tips. roninflag
