That is interesting considering that update was coming from one of their distributors, driftersgear
I mean exactly what I said. 270 Wsm, in 2024. This information is freely available from ADG. This is news from one their dealers.

I wrote ADG in November about 6.8 Western brass and got the email everyone else's as saying it's the top of their potential list. Others have written them this week and gotten the email saying it's on their potential list. If it becomes available, I'll order a few hundred of them. I bought 100 300 WSM last fall from them, and recently got 100 pieces of 270 WSM from Norma. Since I already have 150 or so 300 WSM and 270 WSM, before I made those two purchases I am good for a while.
For 6.8 Western, I have necked down 7mm SAUM brass then fire formed it. So far it works, but I only bought 50 pieces to test it out.

Could 270 wsm be sized to form 6.8 western cases, maybe with just a trim after sizing? Would save the fireforming step if 270 wsm brass on hand or becomes available.

I'm sure it can be, but at the time I bought the 7 SAUM brass there was no WSM brass to be found anywhere. I'd also like to keep my head-stamps separated since I also shoot 270 WSM.
