Looking for opinions on best bullet for deer

Distance 10-800 yards

Needs to be stable in 9 twist barrel

Any thing from .243 - .338

What would you choose and why?

Barnes TTSX. Just because I can.
Cutting Edge, again just because I can.
Nosler ABLR…
Where do I stop…
This, ^^^^^^^^.
From 243.........338. WOW
Maybe you can share some different bullets you would like to try, that would help to narrow down the choices.
For Deer I like Sierra, Nosler, Barnes, Berger, Apex Afterburner, Hammers...etc.
Help us to help you. Thanks

This is NOT for everybody and is often a personal choice, but my go-to bullet for all my wild game hunts is Berger's or something similar.

Here's some choices, since the op asked for variety. In 6.5 the 130g berger ar hybrid tactical is the easy button. Nine twist stable, works well across the board from Grendel to 264win taken a pile of white tail from point blank to beyond 700. Just keep the impact velocity above 1800 and go collect your newest volunteer to convert into sausages. In 30 from 308 and bigger it's had to beat the tried and true 150-180g Nosler BT stuff just folds up and drops. In 300blk I've had great results with the 125g Speer tnt with its lower velocity it penetrates very well and spreads its love well, like an inside hug. For 30/06 and bigger cases the 230g berger tactical or the 215g hybrid is a great choice with the 225g ELDM as a solid option as well.

I've got plenty of my own opinions and reasons for why i shoot what I shoot
Just interested in what other people would choose and why

I've mostly hunted with Hornady 139gr and 162gr SST's, and Nosler 120gr, 140gr and 150gr Ballistic Tips and Silvertips, on 7mm cartridges.

Last 3 years I've hunted with the Berger Hybrid Hunters, 150gr in the 7mm-08, and the 168gr on the 7mm Rem Mag, and they performed great. Last fall killed a mulie at 556 yds, one shot and done with the 7mm-08 and the 150gr Hybrid. Even though it was going a little below 1,800 fps upon impact, damage to lungs was impressive.

Personally, I was disappointed by the Accubonds, as they failed to cause enough damage to the lungs on a couple of kills.

As mentioned on previous posts though, there are tons of options out there.

For 40 years my go to bullet is and has been the Nosler Ballistic Tip.

The only other bullet that I trust for one shot kills is the Berger VLD.

I've tried others through the years.
But keep coming back to those two.

As for the ABLR, I like the way they shoot long range. But their terminal performance at closer range was lacking.

Interesting that you have no caliber preference, but whatever the chambering it needs to be a nine twist? The 165 Sierra TGK would be tied for first...in every caliber it's made in. 180 Bergers and 124 hammers and 150 Noslers are also tied, again in all calibers they are made in. I feel like I am missing a few🤔
