Inbetween shooting, hunting, and trying to make a living I like to experiment with different art mediums. I've always wanted to try pyrography (wood burning). Anyway, I finally got serious about it and gave it a whirl yesterday. Here is my very first attempt ever at it. I thought it turned out okay and at least it didn't look like a parakeet when I was done.

That is pretty dang good! Did you draw it on the wood before you started burning or did you just free hand it? Seems like it would be really hard to just free hand it haha.

Art has always been beyond me but enjoy the stuff some people can create. Looks pretty good to me.

Korhil, I drew it on the wood with a pencil and then came back with the wood burning tool.

Looks great! I did some wood burning art when i was a kid.... that was a looooong time ago
