Went to Cabelas today and saw they had a few rifles called " Remington model 700 Long Range " the on that caught my eye is they had one in 7mmRM and for only $700. It looks a lot like the old school Senderos but the stock looks to be more like a B&C copy not the HS but was all mate blued with a 26" sendero contor barrel, BDL . But Remington's website doesn't show this gun nor can I find it anywhere !!! What is this thing? And where did it come from?
 
I believe it is listed on remingtons site under mdl 700 long range if the same , but has no specs listed for the weight, calibers, ect... only the overview
 
Could you post a link or model number for the Cabelas heavy barreled 700 rifle with the heavy barrel in 7mm RM caliber? It has interested me, and for $700 it would make a nice range gun for me, so I don't shoot out my hunting rifles.

They are a heck of a deal. I picked up 3 at the local cabelas seeing as they are only 700 bucks. There is more money in parts than what they are asking. 425 for the action, 140ish for bottom metal, and 250 for the stock, 815 total. Mine came in 7 Rem Mag, 300 Win and 300 RUM. Actions will get single point trued with brux barrels put on with 4 port brakes. They will be chambered in 300 RUM. Skim bed the stock put jewell triggers on them, new aftermarket lug, and cerakote the barreled action, 2300 out the door to customer. Ive already got them sold.

Sounds like you have it all Figured out!! ,,I may end up buying two of them just can't decide what other caliber I want ...and I'm already thinking of what to turn this one into, that I don't already have ( any ideas, ) i have an old sendero in 7rem mag that shoots like a house fire!! I have been looking into that 7mm long range mag..but I don't know ..also you turned your into 300 rums, I have never got into those ..should I be? Or the 7mm RUM?
 
Hey I just Realized your from Lansing !! Your not to far from me..I have done a few jobs in Lansing, working on a boiler!! And your a smity!! I need your info please.
