or 405win----I've got one in a 1895 high grade--- love it-- I've got dies and a mould too-- I don't have to worry about finding pills for it

Mudrunner finally hit the nail on the head.. A good Lever gun is a necessity to all gun owners that want more than one all round rifle.. They are great fun to shoot..
A good 30-30 marlin, or even better a Henry's would fit the bill..

I recently picked up a 6.8 SPC. Figured if it was designed for the military as a between the .308 and .223 it may prove to be a good all around caliber. Built the rifle over the next few months. Waiting for deer season since it is large enough to use by Va. law. Reviews indicate it will take care of business. Love shooting it on the bench next to my friend while he shoots his .223. Big difference!
