Yeah, I'd have a hard time thinking you got 3 bad scopes in a row. I know if you're putting more than 18in/lbs of torque you will have problems.

My target stand wasn't sitting level but the target was hung with a level. So I adjusted 4 moa down and 1 moa right. So the left to right was about spot on. I only brought those 2 rounds of my proven load because I was trying to continue my load work up on a different load after I got it on paper. This is the scope that Vortex said they would go through and verify before shipping it out. The seal on the box was unbroken and the turrets and parallax were just as stiff as the previous 2 scopes upon unboxing. So I don't think it was verified by them. I'm betting the specialist is going to ask me to go shoot it again before I send it back. So I'm gonna load up 24 of my proven load and possibly get back out and test it again. But the first scope that did this exact same thing was verified by Vortex to be bad
Everything on the scope says moa. I thought that myself but nothing definitive really points that direction. This is at my mountain shooting spot and I ranged it to exactly 100.0 yards at my muzzle. And when I have my $180 Sig mounted, it does everything perfectly. So it's not me, not the rifle and not the load. So it's either gotta be the scope or the Vortex rings. I'm shipping the second scope back today but all of them have performed the same and Vortex said the first one they got back was indeed faulty

Vortex wants them back to put on rifles and test for themselves. They have zero explanations for what I'm experiencing. So we'll see what happens. I'm either impossibly unlucky or dumber than I thought

Update: went to the range a couple of days ago to sight in before a trip because I had pulled the BLR barrel from the action & after re zeroing the rifle I couldnt get it to group with a known load.
Now I am thinking its the scope to?

Yes. So the first scope was indeed bad. After removing it, I put my Sig back on and continued shooting the rifle. It would appear that as soon as the first replacement scope arrived, my rifle decided to become a bit of a poopy pants. The magazine box was binding and the action screws would not hold torque. I had a smith look at it and he trimmed the bottom of the stock a bit and got everything to fit together properly. It's one of those cases where after the first failure, you become a little bias and place blame a little too quick. But Vortex took good care of me and it appears that the scope I got back is indeed functioning well. I haven't been able to really test it out because I finally went back to work. But so far so good

I bought 4 of these scopes and have not had a chance to really test them out yet, and was dreading having any problems with them.

Still haven't heard from all the "vortex is 10 times more reliable and 10 times tougher than leupold" crowd.
Very glad you got your situation sorted out. It can be very frustrating to spend money on good equipment only to have issues.

My only complaint with functionality is the unforgiving eye box. It's a very small window. Other than that, I love the scope. It's as clear as I need for hunting and steel out to my personal limits. And the turrets are awesome. The hash marks don't line up perfectly when the turret is lifted to dial. However, they line up when the turret is locked down

After setting behind one for hours upon hours waiting to shoot bad people.... I guess you could say I am a tad bit biased towards leupolds and nightforce. Drag one up and down stairs over roof tops bounce it off all kind of stuff it's not supposed to and still have them work like a champ.... I guess my bar too low... maybe I need to up my expectations since long range deer hunting is so much more demandingwell if leupold is your standard...the bar isn't set very high.
