I use Timney but have run into some situations where the main body of the trigger is dimensionally too wide to fit certain applications causing some stock mods. Is Triggertech thinner thus eliminating some of these concerns?

I had the same occasional issue with a TriggerTech. Both Timney and TT only required minor work on inletting or trigger guard. Many on this forum have encountered the same. Both are equally good triggers, although im a little partial to Timney since they are locally manufactured.

I had to relieve an HS Precision DBM bottom metal a fair amount on the front side of a triggertech but did not have issues with it clearing the stock on that rifle.

I have 9 Remington 700's. All have Timney triggers and I have not had this problem !!

Have you shot a TT
No sir. I have worked with Timney for a long time and have learned how to adjust their triggers.
Most all mine are set @ 1/2 lb.
I might try a TT next time, just to see the difference.
I am 85 and NEED something to keep me busy.
Thank goodness, I have a nice range at our hunt club.
thanks

Thanks guys, after other thread reviews etc I decided to order Triggertech Special. Will see how it goes!
