  • My situation was different. I damaged some signature series binos. They initially agreed to fix them even though I damaged them, sent me a customer return number and told me to send them in. Several weeks later they advised I damaged the binos and said they were sending them back. I told them I damaged them on the first call and gave the guy an earful about wasting my time and shipping costs. I told them to send them back and then they lost them. Apparently they set on a shelf for a month or two. I can't remember now. It took several calls before they finally located them. I sent letters to the president of Burris and Berretta complaining about their customer service and never received a reply from anyone. Haven't messed with Burris since. Good luck...
Noticed your comments on Burris customer service. I recently sent an illuminated 30 mm scope to Burris to have the illumination fixed. It came back and I checked the illumination and put it in the safe. It was working. Tonight I was going to mount it and there's a black chunk in the scope that wasn't there initially. Then under the scope there is a scratch behind the turret and a deep scratch under the front that starts on the tube and goes into the bell. Looks like someone slipped with a sharp screwdriver. I know for a fact that this scope never saw anything other than the Burris Signature rings and a cloth sack to protect it. Assume that somebody in service screwed up and since these scopes are no longer made hoped they'd get away with damaging it and sending it back. Thus my curiosity of what issues you had with Burris and if it was similar by chance. Going to call them tomorrow and see what they say.
