Tikka T3 270 WSM Long Action Mags

Looking at modifying the bolt stop on my Tikka T3 .270 WSM. I'd need the long action mags to seat bullets out further. I've read you can use factory 7mm or 300 Win Mag Magazines for the 300 or 270 WSM for this but I've also read they are too tight. Anyone have experience on this? Just want to make sure I purchase the correct magazine.

I run the 3 rd 300 win mag for my 7 max so to answer your question yes, modify your bolt stop to long action then buy a long action mag and your g2g

The route I went, the bolt stop took a little filing but not bad, also got the blem mag and saved a few bucks.
