Anyone know of a five port 1" or more diameter brake?
Rich,

I am not sure if it works for you, but Kirby's 5-port PK (http://apsrifles.com/Painkiller_Muzzle_Brakes_QY.html) is over an inch in diameter but in slab form.

Nathan (https://www.straightshotgunsmithing.com/page14) has a slab version similar to Kirby's but a different port design.

Nathan (https://muzzlebrakesandmore.com/muzzle-brakes) also 5-port MBs over 1 inch in diameter.

I am sure there are more, but it is a start.

Rich check out salmon river.
Livetohunt on here he makes some of the best brakes period and they are ti. I actually have been slowly replacing my painkillers with his slab ti brakes. They are a bit bigger but recoil reduction isn’t fantastic

I make some that are .99” in diameter. I’ve had multiple guys buy them and then a .005” taper per side on the small portion of barrel on the OMR 1” carbon barrels. Is your barrel 1” in diameter?

I’m also quick to respond to questions and keep pretty much everything in stock ready to go.

Our biggest brake just came out... it’s the Ti Pro Heavy. It’s 1.2” OD, 5 ports, and yes all the ports are angled back. 3.375” OAL. It’s still only 3.4oz with 7/8-24 threads.

Sounds good. Have you done any recoil testing with other brakes?
We just sent off the Heavy to test against the big cadex defense brake that weighs almost 1 lb...

Jeff Brozovich has done most of our testing with a Ti Pro 3 on a 300 terminator. He’s working on a pressure plate setup for some more detailed testing, but for now it looks like they just edge out the terminator brakes at 2/3 the weight.

Okay. I need a class in paying attention. I see you asked about the barrel. The barrel on the way is 7RUM. The muzzle is .935". The manufacturer told me they come with a 5/8-24 because he threads everything. Am I asking for the right brake? I would rather have too much a good thing than think something else is better.
