The biggest buck I have hanging on the wall was shot with a Sierra international match bullet , I got lucky , since then I now load better constructed bullets. Anyway nice buck if it works for you go for it .

Hit the back half of the shoulder
There was a baseball hole through the shoulder and a pencil hole through the body on the exit side. Most of it stayed inside of him. He dashed about 20 yards, stood for a second on 3 legs and piled up. It was late, cold, miserable, and I was alone and a long way from anybody else so I didn't mess around much with pictures. I cut him up and hit the trail.

We'll see how good he eats. I think I smelled him before I saw him! He's going in the ice chest for 10 days on ice. I'm sold on the ice aging method. We'll see if it works on a rutty buck.

If there was a better constructed bullet I might shoot it. But I don't think there's a better constructed killer than a 180 eldm.
