Suggestions: hunting scope with exposed or locking windage turret

I'm with you with not liking turret caps! 😄
For that reason I assembled several Scope Specs Tables, because many stores don't have a filter to filter out those scopes that have capped turrets.... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, for what they're worth, here are the Tables, including specs like:

▪weight, OAL
▪turrets: locking, 0-stop
▪price
▪separated into FFP and SFP
▪MOA or MIL
▪minimum parallax
▪reticle type
▪etc.

⫸ A few scopes that seem to fulfill your requirements:

FFP

▪ Shepherd BRS 4-16x44 FFP | in MIL or MOA | 23.6oz | exposed, locking turrets

▪ Hawke Frontier 3-15x50 FFP, 30mm, MIL | 22.2oz | exposed, locking turrets, 0-stop

▪ Hawke Frontier 4-20x50 FFP, 30mm tube, MIL | 22.2oz | exposed, locking turrets, 0-stop

SFP
▪ Hawke Frontier 4-20x50 SF SFP, 1" tube | 20.6oz | exposed, locking turrets, 0-stop
▪ Also (same weight) as 3-15x44!

▪ Hawke Frontier 4-24x50 SF SFP, 30mm tube | 23.4oz | exposed, locking turrets, 0-stop

▪ Hawke Frontier 2.5-15x50 SF SFP, 30mm tube | 23.3oz | exposed, locking turrets, 0-stop

Happy scope shopping,

Matthias

(Note: Some fairly common scopes didn't make it into the table because of their min. parallax.)
