Sig Kilo 5k

Good morning everybody, happy Sunday!

It's been a while since I've posted anything and as usual, I need your guidance once again!

I am in the market for a rangefinder and I was looking at the Sig Kilo 5K. My only drawback from buying it today is the fact that it will only give shooting solutions out to 800 yds. Do any of you own one and does it really stop at 800. The next jump in the Kilo lineup that will give shooting solutions further out is the kilo 10k but the price jump is doubled.

I know, I know… you're gonna say "you get what you pay for" but I don't have that budget right now. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Yes, the Sig Kilo 5K's onboard ballistic solver stops giving holdover solutions at 800 yards. But the rangefinder itself will range targets much farther (I've ranged reflective targets past 2,000 yards). The limit is in the software, not the laser. And honestly? Unless you're consistently shooting past 800, you won't care.
