Sendero SF 2

I have always been a Remington 700 fan, with that being said I am looking at getting a Sendero Sf 2 .300 win mag with a Nightforce Shv 5-20x56. Is this set up worth the money?

Sendero rifles have a reputation of being very good shooters.
Nightforce scopes have a strong reputation.

Is the palm swell abnormally big for shooting standing up? That is my last unanswered question. I've heard a lot of complaints about it, but after ton of research it sounds like what I want.

It's not the smallest but it doesn't bother me. Seems to keep me from gripping the stock to much

I have a bunch of Senderos, and 2 5R Milspecs. Both are great rifles, but if I'm going to be spending that much money on a factory rifle I would take the 5R Milspec because of the better 5R rifled barrel. It's the same exact rifle, with a different color HS stock, but it has a better barrel, and is noticeably cheaper in price.

Also, for scope mounts for your new 700 with the Nightforce SHV... I highly recommend the EGW HD 20MOA base, and a set of Seekins Precision 30mm medium rings.

I love my Sendero now. It took about a 100ish rounds to finally shoot 1/2 inch ground with the bullets I wanted to shoot. I also don't mind the HS stock on it.
