sea foam deep creep

anyone ever use sea foam deep creep to clean rifle bore? is it effective? I've read somewhere that it actually works real good.

I have never used sea foam but I do use top engine cleaner on occasion. Both are strong carbon removers.

I would not recommend any product that Is not specifically designed for bore cleaning
because of what It could do to an expensive barrel.

I have seen barrels with pitted bores from the wrong solvent or even the wrong procedure
with a good bore solvent.

There are so many good bore solvents that in my opinion there is no need to try something
that could potentially damage your barrel.

I have used Sea Foam on other applications but not on barrels.
