I just ordered a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 (1/8 MOA dot, 1/8 clicks) and now I have to find some rings for it. I've always been an iron sights person (have shot out to 1000 before; prone/sling), so I know jack about scopes and such.
I bought the Sightron due to all the great reviews I've read here and over on the National Match forums from the F-class shooters (which is mainly what I'm going to use it for, but might throw some mule deer into the mix).
How do I know which rings are a good choice and which ones to stay away from? Is there a way to determine how high the rings need to place the scope? I have an adjustable cheek rest (Eliseo RTS).
