The reticle should git you to 650-700yds just by its self.

I'm sure much more than that. Looking at them, the 18 power model has 32 minutes of reticle moa and the 24 power has 22. That's well beyond 700 even with a 308.

i can vouch for leupold vx2 and mark ar 6x18 for 450-550 ish....which is probably as good as it gets for somewhat "quality " glass and range of adjustments...sounds like vortex and sightron may be close in that price range
