Scope for a new build

I was thinking a mark 4 6.5x20 but have since seen the mark 6 3x18. I like the weights of both and like the mag range of the mark 6 better but the price is a little steep. This is going on a 7mm-08 for hunting and shooting long range steel. I like the vortex except the weight. That is a deal breaker for me. Is the mark 6 that much better or no? I want FFP and matching turrets/reticle. Am I missing another scope? Thanks

If weight is the issue, I think your going to find the Leupold scopes will win. As far as the cost of the MK 6, I would go with the MK 4 in a FFP. In that price range, your going to find that weight is sacrificed for ruggedness and repeatability. Swaro Z6 line?
