Savage Bear Hunter (Hinged Floorplate)

Does anyone have one of these Savage "Bear Hunter" rifles and can give me an idea of the internal length of the magazine? I have interest in one in 300 wsm and maybe the 300 win mag. I've seen a few online and was thinking that they'd be easy to build off of. Just wondering if you got much more room to load a lil longer than what their detachable mags offer.
