Ok with how non existence RL 26 is my question is what VV powder is similar? It seems I can find them once in a while. Thank you.
Some folks here prefer/have better luck with the VV over RL-26. I have the N170, N560, and 24N41 to try later.Ok with how non existence RL 26 is my question is what VV powder is similar? It seems I can find them once in a while. Thank you.
Been seeing lots of n565 and I was wonder if it was close or if 560 was closer. I'm using 570 now in my new 7 stw, but my other one love rl 26.FYI, powder valley had RL26 this morning. I've seen lots of N565 and 570 the last few days.
I don't understand why they don't make enough to go around. I guess I never will.I missed the rl26 by a few seconds.
Where you have a larger capacity case ,with a larger caliber is where N565 andN570 may be better than N560 . I have found that N560 is as good as you can get with The 6.5-Prc and about any 6.5 cal with that case fill down too the 6.5x55 .In our loading n560 has run grain for grain with rl26. Mainly compared in 6.5 prc.
I also think N560 is more temp stable than R26 . I worked up some loads in 96 degree temp with no pressure spikes.Where you have a larger capacity case ,with a larger caliber is where N565 andN570 may be better than N560 .
