Rifle Accuracy

My nephew had 4 of the handy rifles, and I helped him with load development. Two of them were worthless, one so-so, and one was extremely accurate. We spent enough money to buy a nice Rem 700 or Cz. My nephew thought it more safe for the kid to shoot a single shot.

My dream group is 1/2 inch. But at my age it's more depending on what day I shoot it. Lol but seriously it's what I strive for. It translates into a much larger group at 500 yds. It took several sessions and about 5 or 6 different powders and bullets to achieve. I was getting frustrated but the last load I tried was the one to stick with. I got that half inch group 3 times that day. So make sure you have exhausted all your options first. I developed that load 17 years ago and still works today if I do my job right.
