This past Sunday while getting some reloading supplies at our sporting goods store I stumbled upon this rifle in the rack and figured I'd burn my gift cards and get another rifle. :D. It is a 300 win mag with 26" barrel and a B & C M40 stock. I ordered a 20 MOA nightforce base and a rifle basix trigger set at 2.5#. Hopefully next month I can drop it off at the gun smith and have him thread the barrel for my suppressor. Then save up for another nightforce scope. The finished rifle next to it in second pic is my Savage in 300 win mag as well. Kind of excited to get this thing up and shooting and see what I can get the 215 bergers to do, but money doesn't grow on trees. :)

Congratulations are in order for the new Papa!

Are you running the 215gn Bergers through the Savage? If so, what kinda accuracy and velocity you getting? Also, what is your load, if you don't mind sharing. I'm currently running 210gn Bergers with Retumbo through my Savage.

Yes I am running the 215's in my Savage. My load in the Savage is, Winchester Brass, CCI 250 primers, H1000 73gr, seated at 2.870" CBTO .050 jump. My velocity is 2777fps and accuracy is half minute when I stay together. My suppressor is new so I'm still playing. Last time out I was shooting 800 yards no wind that day.
