I guess I missed the story Roy. But that pic reminds me of a saying that gets used around here every hunting season. Usually while field dressing a large Bull.

" I wish I had a pair like that,,,,,,,,,,,, Instead of these big ole ones I got"

Jeff

**** Roy, you have an excellent memory...

I miss my dear friend Phil! I wish you all had the opportunity to have hunted with him.

Well, I kinda do everytime I pick up a couple of his rifles..........:)

And I just read the pig stuff---that is **** funny and well worth passing on. Very very valuable information to have.

I never met him, but really enjoyed his posts and emails. I think of him everytime I shoot the LH LSS 338RUM that I got from Bearless.

I wish someone would specialize in LH rifles like Phil did.

These are my favorite pictures of Phil I took these on our last Alaskan hunt together a few years ago. He killed a nice Dall in it's bed at 700 ish yards with one shot from his favorite .338 RUM. This rifle sits on the coffee table in my office so It can remind me of the good times. I managed to take a good black wolf on that hunt.

Phil was always the life of the party/hunt with his dry sense of humor.
