I'm hoping so too, feels awesome outside finally! Was getting tired of 100 degree days. Where in Texas are you located Kmccord?
Those Sandhills are sure some fine eatin'. Tough to bring down with steel.Well hunted this opening weekend with great success but most importantly it was a fun hunt! A lot of ducks but still making their way down!
Our season in TX opened on Nov. 9th, but I have not seen a lot, hoping the past Cold front kicks them further south, in Northeast TX I did not see any Mallard's on opening day, just Gadwall's and a few Woodie's. I did not head out this past weekend, bypassed Ducks for Deer instead, I may go this coming Saturday morning to give it another try. The new Remington V3 Waterfowl Pro is itching to bust some Ducks, I was only able to bag one Gadwall on opening day...Our season opens Saturday. Wish that it would open. I'm afraid the ducks and geese will eat us out before it opens. They are thick in Arkansas.
AAww this is the cutest thing ever, strong looking dog too.View attachment 153808 My zone in Ohio opener this morning busted my limit of woodes with my boy!!
