Getting ready for duck season down here in Texas gives me a smile! Man am I ready. Don't see much activity on here but I will start posting photos of hunts this year if anyone else wants to join feel free to do so!

You lucky duck...We used to get to hammer them here in IL till they opened the season so early. Now our season is opened and closed before they even come through here. Had two good friends that pushed in Stuttgart till marriage got in the way...LOL

I'm hoping so too, feels awesome outside finally! Was getting tired of 100 degree days. Where in Texas are you located Kmccord?

My zone in Ohio opener this morning busted my limit of woodes with my boy!!

Well hunted this opening weekend with great success but most importantly it was a fun hunt! A lot of ducks but still making their way down!

Our season opens Saturday. Wish that it would open. I'm afraid the ducks and geese will eat us out before it opens. They are thick in Arkansas.

Our season in TX opened on Nov. 9th, but I have not seen a lot, hoping the past Cold front kicks them further south, in Northeast TX I did not see any Mallard's on opening day, just Gadwall's and a few Woodie's. I did not head out this past weekend, bypassed Ducks for Deer instead, I may go this coming Saturday morning to give it another try. The new Remington V3 Waterfowl Pro is itching to bust some Ducks, I was only able to bag one Gadwall on opening day...

As a Beaver fan I love whacking ducks. My son and I have hunted much this season. Nothing better than hunting with your child.
