I would suggest a different brand bullet besides Nosler. Do you get your Nosler bullets from Shooters Pro Shop?

.5 then 1+ sure sounds like bedding to me. Did you hollow out the pillars so the screws aren't grabbing anything? We're they lining up or were they putting your action in a bind to get them started. I've sure been were your at. Luckily it was a known good shooter so it was apparent very quick that I screwed upGood advice. He is a competent gunsmith. I trust their abilities.
I should mention that I only paid him to re-barrel and chamber a mod 70 action. No stock, no scope, nothing but fit and chamber barrel. I didn't give him a stock to test it in. I told him I'd take care of the rest.
I did the bedding and everything after that.
No, did not drill out screw holes. Will do that..5 then 1+ sure sounds like bedding to me. Did you hollow out the pillars so the screws aren't grabbing anything? How about telling us what components you have so people can make suggestions that you can actually tryUmmm … how might I get my paws on some H-1000? Or Retumbo? Stuff is scarce!
Can you expand in this? Not sure I understand exactly what you are referring to.Also seen these after market composite a squinch too short which means you have to grind out the factory recess and that's definitely a butt pucker. Luckily I had a friend that was ready to trash the stock so I got to experiment
Before you do all that I'd first clean the barrel out really well and then retry the CC's. Maybe try around 20 rounds before moving on the rebedding. No, did not drill out screw holes. Will do that.
Yes, screws line up well with action. No binding.
I'll relieve the recoil lug all around, then re-bed properly with space in front.
IMR 4350, H4350, H4831SC, RL-15, RL-22, IMR 3031, IMR 4064. And a 1/2 lb of RL-25How about telling us what components you have so people can make suggestions that you can actually try
Yes.
I have tried the Accubond 180's and 175 cc and 190 cc.
I have never had a problem getting their blems to shoot accurately in every other gun.
What do you suggest?
This is a good possibility of the issue then. Make sure the pillars aren't grabbing your screws and try itNo, did not drill out screw holes. Will do that.

If you're not having a fight getting your screws to start then it's not your issue. Just clean the pillars out and give it another go with the load that was giving you .5Can you expand in this? Not sure I understand exactly what you are referring to.
